We’re looking for reliable, hard-working drivers to join Bastone Freight & Haul at the port. This is a fast-paced role with strong earning potential from day one. What you’ll do: • Complete delivery runs across the city • Log all work through the Bastone Portal • Follow radio procedure and management instructions • Keep your vehicle in good order and report issues properly Earning potential: New starters will usually begin in a Speedo van. With a 3-crate capacity, each completed run generates $750 profit, with the driver taking 90% commission = $675 per run. At a steady pace of 10–15 runs per hour, that means around $6,750 to $10,125 per hour. As drivers progress into larger vehicles such as the Pounder, earnings increase significantly. A Pounder carries 12 crates, creating $3,000 profit per run, with the driver earning $2,700 per run. At 10–15 runs per hour, that puts earning potential at $27,000 to $40,500 per hour. Role Overview The Head of Towing is responsible for the full operational leadership of Bastone Freight & Haul’s towing division under the LSSD tender. This role ensures rapid, compliant, and professional vehicle recovery services across the county, supporting law enforcement, public safety, and infrastructure flow. You will build, lead, and hold accountable a high-performing towing unit capable of meeting strict service-level agreements (SLAs), while maintaining Bastone’s commercial discipline and reputation.
