Steve Hastingson brings a strong operational and executive background to Bastone Freight. His career began in logistics hands-on, moving into leadership after building deep experience in fleet operations, transport management and business performance.
Across previous roles, Steve progressed from technical and operational positions into senior leadership, including running IMEX Logistics, founding Bluewater Logistics and later leading wider business and people strategy through Hastingson Group.
That mix of frontline understanding and executive discipline now shapes Bastone’s direction. Under Steve’s leadership, the company is focused on scalable growth, stronger management standards, better fleet discipline and long-term market credibility.
